In this quote written by our passed president Mr. Abraham Lincoln, he states “I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.” As stated in his quote, he tells us that even if your friends or family members do wrong then you stand next to them and help them to become right rather than let them be alone and do wrong. In my words I think that he is trying to say that no matter what happens, don’t stop trying or working hard because no matter who’s beside you , you will always succeed with them or without them but if there is someone who needs your help then Help them.

In this quote written by Ralph Waldo Emerson, he states “Character is higher than intellect.” What Ralph is trying to say is that character is one of the most valuable things you can have from yourself without character there is no life. In this world, the world makes you who you are but the people are the ones that decide who they want to be. Yet Character is built by people themselves and who they want to be. Ralph was saying character is built from the heart not the world.

Reflection

I would not like to be a Health Sciences Librarian because I don’t have an interest being a librarian and I also don’t like to be in such a quiet environment because it makes things a bit awkward and I don’t like how u have to be silent all the time unless talking to a librarian.

He is trying to say that without hard work , nothing will pay off in the future or now that you have to work hard in order to get what you want and to struggle for what you really love.

In this quote by Brigham Young, he states “True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right.” In this quote he shares his ideas on what doing what right can leads too. For example: If you do your homework and Studied for a test then you can have free time and play games and have fun with your friends but if you don’t then you get things taken away. Brigham is trying to tell us that the more we listen and obey the law and our parents then we shall get freedom and independence such many other good things if you do the right.

The Good Deed

Summary

Starting out as a normal day a boy from the Olivet Eagles had a plan to do something that would put a smile on everybody’s face. Their plan was too get as close to the touchdown line as possible and then put a boy named Keith with a learning disability to make the touchdown because when you make a touchdown it feels great. They then did it but the audience was mad but the boys were smiling already and when the play began Keith was surrounded by his fellow friends to score a touchdown.

Reflection

In this play I saw great attitudes and such adult like minds creating the perfect way to make people feel happy. I love how this play came to them and it was fantastic how they thought about it and it is a very nice thing to do to a disabled child.

In this Statement by George Chapman, he states “They’re only truly great who are truly good.” As stated in George chapman’s statement tells us that the people who are truly great are the ones who do well and do not go against law and who chooses the right. The statement is based on the bad and the good because if your bad then that mean you will never have great things happen to you but if you do good then you feel good for the rest of your life and you will have luck everywhere you go.
